The Marjorie Milner College located at 401 Canterbury Road, Surrey
Hills, Melbourne, Victoria 3127, (Ph 03/9880 7257), was founded
in1946 and is a large industry based training college offering
Certificate 11 in Floristry, Certificate 111 in Floristry and
Certificate 1V in Floristry. As courses are also funded by the
Victorian and the Commomwealth Governments, some students may be
eligible for very low cost training under the Jobs for your Future
programme. The attendance times are flexible with week/night classes
available and teachers are highly qualified. In the four year period to
2009 the students won over forty five industry awards and prizes, and
these are listed on the Marjorie Milner College website. Prospective
students should be aware that there is no Diploma in Floristry that is
recognised by the Australian Education Department or the Floristry
Industry. Cerificate IV in Floristry is the highest recognised
accredited course in Australia.
